16th District Training

The 16th District provides training once a year (typically at the beginning of the school year) to any PTA members who would like to learn more on how to more effectively run their groups, stay apprised of recent changes in laws that affect non-profit 501(c) organizations as well as best practices in PTA events. 

Training subjects change year to year based on the needs of the district but typically the types of training you can find are duties for new Presidents, Treasurers, Bylaws, Historian, Secretary, Fundraising, Membership and more. 

Training is also a great opportunity to meet with PTA members from other schools as well as at the district and state levels. 

The training for the 2009/10 school year has passed. Please check back to this web page for information on the 2010/11 District training to be held in August 2010.
